Translations
Over the years, I have been involved in the translation of a number of Internet sites and various documents for a variety of companies and individuals. In conjunction with my British husband (a former Chartered Surveyor and now a teacher), we are able to apply our combined cultural backgrounds to improve the qualities of our translations, from French to English, or from English to French.
Many of the documents translated have been technical – building construction, land-use and planning, legal contracts, tender documents, specifications, patent documents, etc.
But I have also translated CVs, personal and business letters, etc.
So, whatever the size and nature of the text to be translated, you will get the same personal service – giving you the style of translation you want by the date we agree upon.
For an example of our work, you can see the Internet site of Laurent Petricorena by following the link in the margin – and while you are there I can recommend the traditional Basque food!
Interpreting
I am well used to acting as a go-between, to enable an English speaker to have a direct conversation with their French contact, either face to face, or on the telephone. Interpreting isn't only a full conference activity for busy professionals; it can simply be making everyday life that much easier.
